  1. Hi,
it would be great if you had also full-time working moms, not working from home, giving advice here.
I am sure there are many very hard-working moms with home offices, but for us who have to leave early everyday and come in late, with a manager pushing us to work from from 9-to-6 (or 7, or 8…) it always feels that “blogger” is not a real job and therefore cannot compare in terms of challenges to our hardships…

    • I disagree with Teresa. Why would you assume that “blogger” is the only job these women hold? What does working at home vs. at the office have to do with difficulty or strain?

You don’t know their challenges or hardships, please. You work a 9-6? Wow, that’s not bad at all. You should feel blessed. Show some respect.

In this environment, people are just happy to have any job and be able to support their families. The purpose of this blog is to help all mothers.

All of the bloggers here could be full-time working moms, how would you even know?

      • I also work from home. It takes alot of discipline and focus. It is easy to get distracted. I am in and out of the office recruiting, giving training, as well as working out in the field at night. I work an average of 40 hours per week, but often time it can be 55 or 60, as well. It is hard to make meals, not to mention juggling the laundry, kids activities, Dr. appointments, just like the rest of you. It is a very demanding job. I also work 7 days a week, so very rarely do I get a break.
One thing I have found helpful is either making freezer meals either at home or at a kitchen that specializes in doing that. I try to fit them in about twice a week.

  2. you should have a section called “ask a Mom” where we can ask questions and get your feedback

  3. I agree with thereswa. I leave my house at 6am don’t come home until 6pm, and as sonn as I get into the house the kids are on me “what’s for dinner, I’m hungry!!”

  4. Awesome blog! I’m sure so many moms can relate!

I was wondering would you be interested in sharing your articles with other like-minded parent bloggers? If yes, please email me at info@atomicreach.com with Parents in the subject line.

    Thanks,
    Anne
